Rodman Brace Keeps Spirit in Second Place

Posted on 7 September 20257 September 2025

The Washington Spirit kept their second place spot on the NWSL table after a 2-0 win against the Seattle Reign at Audi Field. The win came after a pair of goals by forward Trinity Rodman, one in each half. The first half goal was the result of a perfectly placed ball over the top from Leicy Santos while the second goal came on a deft cross in the box from Croix Bethune. Goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury recorded the clean sheet.
