DC Power FC was unable to hold on to its first half lead, but shared points with visitors Fort Lauderdale in the final home game of the 2024-2025 season. The game was largely played in a back and forth battle with almost a 50-50 split of possession. The Power were able to score on their only shot on goal in the 45th minute with a goal by forward Loza Abera. Fort Lauderdale had 3 shots on goal and scored in the 83rd minute on a goal by defender Sabrina McNeill.
Fort Lauderdale remain in 6th place with 38 points while DC is one place behind with 23 points. DC will play their final two games on the road, with the next game taking place against Tampa Bay on Saturday.
