DC Power were able to come back from a goal down to draw with one of the top teams in the league, Brooklyn FC, at their second home game of the Spring campaign.
Brooklyn took the lead in the first half after defender Grace Phillpotts, making her first start with the club, sent a low all across the front of goal, which DC goalkeeper Adelaide Gay was unable to get more than a fingertip to. This left the ball right in front of goal for midfielder Mackenzie George to easily sent into the net.
The second half saw the equalizer for DC when Gianna Gourley got a ball over the top that she was able to chip over the Brooklyn keeper, who was out of position.
DC is currently in last place, having played only 18 games while most other teams have played either 19 or 20.
