DC Power FC had a hard time controlling the ball in the first half, which allowed Brooklyn to largely keep the ball in the Power half of the field. This eventually led to a Luana Grabias hat trick in the first half, which was two more than was needed to beat the Power.
The Power did manage to wrestle control in the second half, with virtually all the play in the Brooklyn defensive half. However, the Power were unable to put a ball in the back of the net and ended up losing 0-3 as Brooklyn moved into first place in the standings. The Power kept their spot in 7th (out of 8), one point above Lexington SC. The Power only have two more games, both away, to try to gain positions on the table before the winter break.
